New year is bringing a new studio, so I am on the move! Please stay tuned for updates on the new location, I'll be posting regularly to Instagram.
I hope everyone is having a great start to the year. I'll be staying creative while on the move. I have some projects in the works for upcoming shows. I will also be taking some sneak photos of my sketchbooks, while I'm updating that section of my website.
There is a lot to look forward to this year!
This is a good time for most people to look at their lives and decide if there is anything worth changing. New Year's resolutions are fallible however and often leave you disappointed. Often times we are bent on the idea that we must expect the best, but we don't give ourselves the proper time, and therefore abandon our goals before long.
Start small, expect little, and get results faster! Instead of resolving to create 15 pieces of art this year, how about something smaller and more manageable and also more guaranteed for success! Habits are formed slow, ask 1 painting of yourself. Surely you can do one in an entire month, and if you can do this every month you have 12 paintings by the end of the year! Maybe you'll have more if you get the time, but the goal is met.

About the Artist
I would call myself a Jack of all Trades, but mostly because I'm interested in many areas of art if not all! I graduated with a BFA in Fine Art from the University of North Texas with a focus on Watercolor. I always had dreams of creative writing, and in 5th grade I wasn't too bad! Art clearly won out for my attention, but writing will always have a place in my heart!
What better way to write, I say, than to share a blog, and practice my second love while talking about my first! With that said, I hope you all enjoy my ramblings and please hit me up with any questions. :D
